Lightwave Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company with its business address at 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, operates the ThaiSabai mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple or as a guest, we receive a unique identifier and (if you grant it) your name and email address. You may also choose a username.
- Learning data. Your progress through lessons, vocabulary studied, streaks, XP, review schedules, and preferences such as script style and daily goal.
- Subscription and purchase data. Apple processes all in-app purchases. We receive a record that a purchase succeeded and which plan you are on, but we do not receive your payment card details.
- Device and diagnostic data. Limited technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and crash logs, used to keep the App stable.
- Notification preferences. Whether you have enabled push notifications and which categories of reminders you have opted into.
- Advertising data. If you are on the free or Standard plan, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may access a device identifier to display ads. We use non-personalized ads only and do not use this information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and its features.
- Personalize your learning experience (e.g., spaced-repetition reviews, daily goals, streaks).
- Process subscriptions, trials, and renewals through the Apple App Store.
- Send you reminders and re-engagement notifications you have opted into.
- Diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and ensure the security of the App.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases (EEA / UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your information on the basis of (a) the contract for providing the App to you, (b) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, (c) your consent (where required, e.g., for push notifications), and (d) legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Apple, which handles authentication (Sign in with Apple) and processes all in-app purchases. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Google AdMob, our advertising provider, which serves ads to users on the free and Standard plans. AdMob may process device identifiers to deliver and measure ads. We use non-personalized ads only. Its practices are governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Service providers that help us host and run the App (such as cloud hosting and database providers). These providers process information solely on our instructions.
- Legal authorities, if disclosure is required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account from inside the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account), we will delete your personal data from our active systems within thirty (30) days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, financial records).
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under the equivalent age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
We are based in the United States. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
